  • Join me in a daily tarot card exploration

Hey y'all,  So I've decided to embark on a 78-day journey deepening my exploration of the tarot, and beginning to move my relationship with my card...
  • Studio update: Oracle cards, intuition, and flowers.

Happy Monday (if you're reading this on Monday. If not, happy whatever day it is for you.) I wanted to take a moment to share with you some things I'm thinking about coming next in my work 💜
  • Last day to join March's edition of the Soft Surprises earring club!

Join the Soft Surprises earring club by the end of the day today, March 28th, to get in on the shipment going out this month. (Or join any time after to get in on the next month's shipment 💌)
  • Floral earrings coming soon

Since I started working with polymer clay at the beginning of this year, I knew I wanted to be making floral pieces to align with the exploration of the natural world that I've been doing via my watercolor paintings and monthly art zine over on Patreon

This month, it's happening! My first collection of floral polymer clay earrings will be released on Sunday, March 28th at 12pm. (But if you're a patron on Patreon or you're signed up for my mailing list, you'll hear about it a little bit in advance, so you'll be able to snag a piece you love!)

  • March Series: Daffodils

Sorry for the delayed update, but I blinked and spring had sprung! I wanted to share with y'all this month's flower for my monthly series of paintings that I turn into a zine for my patreons over on Patreon. This month, as spring is springing and they're starting to bloom (at least here in Seattle), I'll be focusing on the daffodil.
  • Sky shapes earring collection is now in the shop

My second polymer clay collection includes unique necklaces as well as statement earrings. This series is focused on shapes we see in our skies, especially this type of year. Rain clouds, moons, and stars represent our long nights and rainy winters.

Click here to check out the whole collection, and you can see all the polymer clay accessories currently available here

  • Sky Shapes polymer clay earring drop coming soon

After last month's launch of my first heart-themed polymer clay collection, I'm ready to launch another one! This month's release is going to be themed around the shapes we see in the skies, especially this time of the year. We're talking clouds, rain drops, moons and stars -- the stormy winter nights we've been making our way through. Click in to check out some of the pieces in progress.
  • February Flower Series: Primroses

As a continuation of my year of florals, I'm here to share with you more about February's flower, the common primrose. Primroses are often marked by their bright yellow center surrounded by five colorful petals. I plan to play around with these colors and they way they meld as I explore this with watercolors. Beyond the physical form, we'll explore the symbolism of the primrose through collage poetry this month. Primroses symbolize courage, patience, kindness, and nurturing among other things. These are the themes I will dig into this month while creating new pieces for my monthly zine 'small things for soft hearts' that I send to my patrons at the end of the month.
  • January clay collection is LIVE!

I've been hard at work for the last month creating my first collection of polymer clay earrings and accessories, and it's finally ready to go!

Click here to go check it out, or keep reading if you want to hear a little bit more about the collection.

  • January clay collection Coming Soon!

I've been hard at work on my first clay collection, and y'all I am stoked about it. The whole collection will be dropping on January 26th, and you'll be able to find it here.

  • Source Highlight: I, Robot by Isaac Asimov

In a world that is increasingly automated and technically connected, I'm very interested in how we choose to moralize about these connections. I think it's going to be a supremely important ethical question, and one that I hope we choose to address together before it feels like it's Too Late. So I appreciate works of fiction that help bring these questions to us in digestible ways, so we can start to consider what it might mean, for instance, for AI to feel or think or love. What it might mean for AI to be an integrated part of our society.

  • Interested in joining an artist mastermind group to level up your art business?

Are you an active artist working on growing your artistic business? Do you feel a little lonely or isolated as a solo entrepreneur? Are you not sure what steps to take to reach your goals and not sure who to talk to? Do you ask yourself questions like “How do I make a living selling art but also live by anti-capitalist values and be a good human in the world?”

Do you know what some of your top goals are for your art business in 2021, but just aren't totally sure on how to achieve them? Can you commit to show up to twice monthly meetings to share thoughts, set goals, give and receive feedback, and generally help everyone in the group achieve their goals?

If the answer to the above questions is yes, than this is definitely something I'd love for you to explore with me.
